Description

I really like the color one can get from NB and this image turned out to be particularly colorful.  I used the new modified color mask script and found it to be extremely useful. You can adjust the colors that are included in the mask which allows you to customize it. That way I was able to target larger or smaller areas in image. One thing that disturbed me at first was the very distinctive demarcation of bright and dark areas running down the left center of the image. I thought I had a problem with my equipment but after inspecting other images of the Tadpoles, I could see the same thing in virtually everyone. It is less noticeable in shorter focal length images (but still there) and very noticeable at my focal length (1050 mm). It kind of looks like a straight line but on closer inspection, you can see it is curved slightly. It is an interesting phenomenon but definitely not an artifact.
