Description

This is an early attempt at the Messier and assorted galaxy field in Coma Berenices with the William Optics ZenithStar 61 II APO. I was initially running a rough framing shot as I was trying to hop around to Markarian's Chain, when M99 and M100 popped up in the short test exposure with their gorgeous spiral structure. So I changed modes and opted for that field instead. I was hoping to start off with a bit more than 2 hours of exposures, but clouds became a problem and I could only use 76 minutes worth. I have not yet tried integrating multiple sessions, especially reframing the view to be as close as possible to previous runs (using iOptron SkyGuider Pro, so no automation to reacquire). Anyway, that will be fun later, because I definitely want to add more time to this one.
